Pork Butchery Masterclass
Our pork butchery masterclass makes the ideal gift for the
budding meat enthusiast in your life.
In small classes of 4, you will get a real hands-on experience of butchering a pig all the way to making sausage and bacon and in the safe hands of our head butcher who will guide through the course in an informative manner with a bit of lighthearted entertainment along the way.
Hopefully, you will finish the day with a new skill which may come in handy and an insight into the craft of butchery.

Introduction and piggy facts
Demonstration of carcass breakdown, deboning
Participants to debone their side of pork
Preparation of pork for bacon
Breakfast sandwich and tea or coffee
Preparation of pork for sausage
Fill out the sausage and link
Roll and tie the remaining joints
Divide the joints and sausage between the participants
Competition time with prize
Finish approx. 1.30 pm
